sometimes reading or watching the news makes me feel depressive a bit.. it’s just too much and sometimes i wonder if we really need to know everything that’s going on everywhere…

Yeah! Depressive is a good word to describe how the news can make us feel. Bad news sell more than good news. And silly news tend to be read more and the more serious ones, so they are written more often.
